Recently, my daughter got her license. It was bittersweet—freedom for her, and a routine shakeup for me. For years, my morning centered around taking her to school. Suddenly, that chapter closed. Now what?

I had to pause and ask myself: what does my morning look like now? Without the daily school run, I had the opportunity to be intentional again. So I did something bold—I asked AI to help me create a brand-new routine.

The Trap

Many of us fall into the trap of clinging to a morning routine that no longer serves us.

I opened AI and said, “Here’s everything I want to get done—help me make the ideal schedule.” It was a game-changer.

You can do the same. Decide what matters most—reading, coffee with your spouse, a workout, meditation—and build it in. Be specific. Set your wake-up and work times. Then, commit to trying it for just one week.

When you can start your day with predictability and intention, you’ll create momentum that lasts.
