SVP of Learning & Development

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Manages all aspects of XINNIX Academy learning programs, processes, and objectives
  • Attracts, builds, and leads a dynamic Training and Development team in a high-performance, delivery-based culture
  • Collaborates with executive team on training requirements and overall business needs
  • Develops the annual Strategic Training Plan to include product roadmaps, budgeting, enhancements, and overall pricing strategy
  • Ensures all content is built on effective training techniques with relevant delivery methods for an exceptional user experience
  • Builds and oversees key vendor relationships for driving learning objectives
  • Develops and delivers solutions, teams’ metrics of success, exceptional client net promoter score, and measurable ROI
  • Leads the planning, execution, and evaluation of the delivery of all content across all platforms
  • Ensures that the enterprise is equipped with the appropriate Learning Delivery System capable of supporting the business mission
  • Validates effectiveness of performance objectives for training via shadowing, interviewing SME’s, and reviewing client feedback
  • Highly knowledgeable of various authoring tools; Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, etc.
  • Proficient in client collaboration for new training products specific to custom development
  • Holds a position on the Executive Leadership team and reports directly to the CEO

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Ten or more years of leading a training and development team, during which both professional and management capabilities have been clearly demonstrated.
  • Five years or more experience in a strategic leadership role with a proven track record of successfully building/shifting a team or organizational culture to operate with an orientation toward learning and innovation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in partnering across all key business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Operations to formulate the overarching business strategy and deriving functional requirements that achieve that strategy.
  • Clear evidence of experience in the leading areas of research, analytics, data science, statistics, and organizational learning, with expertise in virtual learning methodologies and platforms.
  • Understands corporate and client business objectives, and has incorporated them into a strategic, tactical, and operational level with design solutions that provided a clear competitive business advantage.
  • Proven success serving internal clients, external clients and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-driven, motivated, and able to perform in a high performing team environment,
  • Experience with Litmos, Audacity, Articulate Rise, or comparable programs preferred
  • Proven development of Sales and Leadership curriculum in a “for profit” company

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Able to manage time and competing priorities, understands how projects fit within organizational objectives, and delegates appropriately to maximize organizational effectiveness.
  • The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional skills in leadership, management, data analytics, research, and strategy. This will be illustrated by the following:
    • Ability to set an inspiring vision and direction to achieve goals coupled with an ability to create the conditions for ongoing learning and evolution
    • Ability to translate insights into practical implications that can be understood and acted upon easily, by people without a research or analytics background
    • Ability to effectively communicate/partner with all levels of internal/customer organizations
    • Ability to manage team execution toward high quality results
    • Exceptional ability to influence and build strong relationships
    • A high degree of emotional intelligence

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Ability to create and foster relationships with students over long periods of time
  • Ability to hold students accountable to the disciplines instilled within each Performance Training Program
  • Support and mentor new Loan Officers entering the business within the ORIGINATOR program
  • Conducts training via webinars and live, when required
  • Delivers existing training curriculum based on student needs. Includes training in sales skills, communication skills, presentations skills, time management, business planning, etc.
  • Develops new training and enhances content of existing training curriculum as needed
  • Investigates available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective way to conduct training
  • Find solutions to business issues, make recommendations, and answer student inquiries
  • Leads or works on special projects as required
  • Works cross-functionally with all departments in organization

Job Requirements: MUST have Mortgage origination experience to be considered

  • 3+ years mortgage origination experience required and 5+ years loan origination experience required
  • Demonstrates advanced understanding of the mortgage industry
  • 1+ year(s) presentation or training experience preferred but not required
  • Exhibits polished, professional presence with confidence
  • Demonstrates a passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Effectively conveys information/ideas through verbal & written communication to individuals and groups
  • Uses appropriate interpersonal style and communication methods to gain acceptance of an idea or counsel others
  • Demonstrates excellent listening and observation skills
  • Demonstrates superior attention-to-detail and solid organizational skills
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates flexibility and readiness to modify approach as situations require
  • Works well within a team environment
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer software skills

XINNIX is currently seeking National Sales Executives. To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • 15+ years proven track record in B2B sales
  • In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry and its current events
  • Proven experience calling on C-Suite level executives in the Banking, Mortgage Lending and Credit Union space
  • Ability to close selling opportunities on the entire suite of XINNIX products and services
  • Knowledge of the consultative sales process
  • Ability and willingness to travel 25-35% of your time
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
