VP, Information Systems

The Vice President of Information Systems position concentrates on managing the technical and functional implementation of Information Technologies and requires leadership savvy to orchestrate and put in sync the various network and computing resources as well as its people to achieve the corporate business objective.

It is a hands-on leadership role in development, building, integration, and implementation of the XINNIX Enterprise Architecture, the new XINNIX Learning Center and other systems supporting the business. This individual will partner with XINNIX’s business stakeholders to design and build solutions to optimize and upgrade mission-critical applications that align with the overarching business strategy and provide on-going support of those applications/systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Be a member of and partner with the Lead Team to create and refine the corporate strategy.
  • Define a technology roadmap that achieves the key objectives of the corporate strategy.
  • Manage the custom development required to achieve components of the corporate strategy.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Data Warehouse and its ecosystem inclusive of Power BI dashboards used by XINNIX Associates to run their business operations in a high-growth environment.
  • Optimize the Learning Management Systems delivering training to our customer base.
  • Define and implement the go-forward CRM roadmap.
  • Ensure Corporate Applications are properly supported in production.
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team and Finance on purchasing and software vendor partnerships to ensure XINNIX maximizes adoption, support, and ROI from our systems.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage the vendors/partners inclusive of Novatech and Delphian to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget.
  • Drive cyber-security and security awareness initiatives.
  • Positive leader who can motivate, work closely with business partners, and foster an environment of innovation, collaboration and problem solving to deliver results.
  • Network with peers and industry leaders to stay aligned with new solutions in the marketplace.
  • Evaluate new technology concepts and innovations.
  • Identify and streamline workflows via tool configuration changes or new tool acquisition to optimize employee and customer productivity and interactions.
  • Negotiate best case pricing for new tools and renewals.
  • Coordinates with end users via standard support processes and systems to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Performs business analyst duties such as requirement mapping, assisting with platform documentation, and others as required.
  • Manages user profiles, roles, permission sets, assignment rules, and license types as required.
  • Collaborates with platform resources and business users to understand business requirements for projects and operations.
  • Helps to improve order management workflows.
  • Provides regular status updates and communications to all associates.
  • Oversight of current tools include but are not limited to: Salesforce, Pardot, QuickBooks, Matrix LMS, Learning & Performance Center (home grown LMS), Microsoft Suite.
  • Actively keeps abreast of developments in learning technologies.
  • Facilitates access to expertise, services and resources relating to technology-supported learning.
  • Contributes to the development of the learning strategy through the identification of needs and opportunities for the development/deployment of learning technologies

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in related field (Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field). Master’s degree a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Leader.
  • 10+ years’ experience creating and implementing business strategies and the associated technology roadmaps.
  • Broad technology background inclusive of architecture, development, deployment, integration, and operations.
  • Understanding of Hosting & Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP are an added plus.
  • Seasoned leader who can develop strong cross-departmental partnerships with business leaders and vendors.
  • Ability to drive projects, mitigate risk, and meet deadlines in an environment of rapid change and innovation.
  • Ability to facilitate structured meetings and clearly communicate expectations and accountability.
  • Absolute integrity, discretion and sensitivity to confidential company and employee information.
  • Experience with process documentation and contributing to system Knowledge Base repositories.
  • Experience working with remote teams and use of virtual conference tools.
  • Good understanding of learning management systems and enterprise architecture.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including immediate supervisor and other team members.
  • Design and development of a learning technology strategy is a plus.

  • 3+ years mortgage origination experience required and 5+ years loan origination experience required

Training Coordinator

  • Strong attention to detail with highly accurate record keeping skills

  • Competent working with and modifying EXCEL reports
  • Comfortable learning new learning management systems
  • Experience setting up classes and pulling reports from online presentation platforms a plus
