Job Purpose:
Tech-savy junior marketing and communications position needed to execute strategic initiatives and manage day-to-day web, social and digital communications and public relations. Objective is to position XINNIX as the thought leader in sales and leadership training in the mortgage industry.

Mission:
To build the XINNIX brand through internal and external communications that creates awareness of XINNIX products and services. To support sales, marketing and training to identify and acquire new customers and engage, nurture and retain existing client relationships that drive sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS OF POSITION:

Communications

  • Manage all communications content and annual communications calendar
  • Maintain all content and manage customer experience on all digital platforms: com, Linkedin (Company and CEO), Facebook, Twitter (Company and CEO), YouTube
  • Manage daily response to comments made through all digital platforms
  • Responsible for contact records captured and maintenance within the email database of prospects, leads and assigned contact records
  • Support the development of quarterly anchor content to be used for lead generation and customer nurturing
  • Develop and manage internal/employee communications and events
  • Manage weekly digital newsletter for lead and customer nurturing and lead generation
  • Manage and catalog all resources and digital assets: Whitepapers/case studies, videos, photographs, testimonials, interviews
  • Maintain corporate brand guidelines
  • Conduct recorded interviews for use in videos, social, podcasts etc.
  • Write scripts for introductions and live events

Public Relations

  • News releases, editorial in B2B Industry publications and local media and national business publications, weekly newsletter
  • Maintain all executive, trainers and speaker bios, introductions and headshots
  • Create editorial opportunities in industry publications with editorial calendar featuring articles on women in the industry, education, training, culture, sales, new hires
  • Culture and Business Awards: Manage application process, associate surveying, and leverage winning the award
  • Employee Recognition: Annual employee awards, quarterly employee awards, culture awards celebration
  • Execute an annual XINNIX Gives Back Program: Quarterly company wide volunteer programs supporting veterans, homeless, women and children and a quarterly day of service initiatives for all employees

Social Media

  • Coordinate and execute communications for all social media channels: publish, listen and analyze
  • Build and maintain social media presence on New and existing sites and pages: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
  • Develop and publish thought leadership content: company blog (weekly), podcast (2 times month) white papers (quarterly), case studies (quarterly), testimonials(weekly), interviews (monthly)

Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with outside agencies and other vendor partners
  • Measure and report performance of all marcom efforts monthly
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize performance based on insights
  • Build landing pages on website for campaigns
  • Create post event surveys
  • Launch Email campaigns
  • Proofread and edit copy
  • Trade show and events

SKILLS

  • Highly proficient at content development for social media, paid advertising and public relations for external marketing communications

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Email marketing platform preferably Pardot
  • Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform—preferably Salesforce
  • Content Management Systems (CMS)—preferably WordPress
  • Podcast Management Platforms—preferably Blubrry
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Analytics—preferably Google, Salesforce Social and Saleforce B-B
  • Video hosting platforms—preferably Wistia and Bombbomb
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) disciplines
  • Send Time Optimization disciplines
  • Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts—media, advertising, promotions, software
  • Proficiency in email marketing—preferably within the Pardot and Salesforce.com platforms
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook; )
  • Social media content development and publishing

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years in marketing internal and external communications in a service organization. Prefer financial services experience.  Mortgage industry or real estate a plus.
  • Proficiency in Business Writing, Social Media, Email Marketing, CRM, CMS, Website Management, SEO, Analytics, Survey tools, Public Relations
  • Basic understanding in Marketing Automation, Account Based Marekting, Digital and Print Design, Advertising, Media Relations, Video Production, Photography, User Experience Design and Customer Experience Design, GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar

EDUCATION:

  • Degree in marketing, public relations, journalism or communications

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Ability to create and foster relationships with students over long periods of time
  • Ability to hold students accountable to the disciplines instilled within each Performance Program
  • Support and mentor new Loan Officers entering the business within the ORIGINATOR program
  • Conducts training via webinars and live, when required
  • Delivers existing training curriculum based on student needs. Includes training in sales skills, communication skills, presentations skills, time management, business planning, etc.
  • Develops new training and enhances content of existing training curriculum as needed
  • Investigates available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective way to conduct training
  • Find solutions to business issues, make recommendations, and answer student inquiries
  • Leads or works on special projects as required
  • Works cross-functionally with all departments in organization

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years mortgage management experience required and 5+ years loan origination experience required
  • Demonstrates advanced understanding of the mortgage industry
  • 1+ year(s) presentation or training experience preferred but not required
  • Exhibits polished, professional presence with confidence
  • Demonstrates a passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Effectively conveys information/ideas through verbal & written communication to individuals and groups
  • Uses appropriate interpersonal style and communication methods to gain acceptance of an idea or counsel others
  • Demonstrates excellent listening and observation skills
  • Demonstrates superior attention-to-detail and solid organizational skills
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
