Mortgage Sales Trainer

Fantastic training opportunity to join a highly respected training academy

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Conducts training via webinars and live, when required, traveling 40%
  • Conducts speeches to audiences ranging from 30-300
  • Delivers existing training curriculum based on student needs. Includes training in sales skills, communication skills, presentations skills, time management, business planning, etc
  • Develops new training and enhances content of existing training curriculum as needed
  • Investigates available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective manner in which to conduct training
  • Leads or works on special projects as required
  • Works cross-functionally with all departments in organization

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years mortgage management experience required and 5+ years loan origination experience required
  • Demonstrates advanced understanding of the mortgage industry
  • 1+ year(s) presentation or training experience preferred but not required
  • Exhibits polished, professional presence with confidence
  • Demonstrates a passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Effectively conveys information/ideas through verbal & written communication to individuals and groups
  • Uses appropriate interpersonal style and communication methods to gain acceptance of an idea or counsel others
  • Demonstrates excellent listening and observation skills
  • Demonstrates superior attention-to-detail and solid organizational skills
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates flexibility and readiness to modify approach as situations require
  • Works well within a team environment
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer software skills

Client Advisor

Mission

To generate business by serving mortgage companies and individuals in helping them achieve both their short and long term growth goals utilizing our products and services. To establish and prioritize corporate clients for on-going sales and training opportunities.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Perform outbound phone calls to warm leads and cold leads
  • Determine corporate sales candidates through research
  • Generate sales for new and existing business accounts
  • Assess and prioritize new leads
  • Ability to create and execute cold call strategies
  • Assist with sales campaigns for new business and greater account penetration
  • Be able to close a minimum number of sales per month
  • Maintain data integrity within the XINNIX CRM

Communicates regularly with the following

  • CEO
  • Vice President, National Sales Manager
  • Sales & Marketing Assistant

Job Requirements

Skills

  • Sales or extroverted personality.
  • Ability to convert client needs and expectations into viable appointments
  • Strong written and oral communication ability
  • Good organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Reasonable attention to detail with the ability to evaluate client needs

Knowledge

  • A general knowledge of mortgage banking, loan origination and mortgage company management is preferred
  • A familiarity of origination and fundamental mortgage training is helpful
  • The ability to understand a client’s needs and translate that into a business concept is very important

Experience

  • A background of general sales experience is necessary

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or business related (finance, accounting, marketing, etc.) is preferred. In lieu of this sales experience is acceptable
